From subtle, low‑profile posts that complement landscaped schemes to large‑diameter protective bollards engineered to withstand vehicle impact, steel provides the flexibility required across modern public realm projects.
BSFG’s standard steel bollard range is manufactured using mild steel tube sections from 76mm up to 219mm, available in both round and square profiles. Bollards can be specified as root‑fixed for permanent protection or surface‑mounted where ground conditions or reinstatement requirements dictate. All steel bollards are hot‑dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard, providing long‑term corrosion resistance, and may be powder coated in a wide selection of RAL colours to suit branding or architectural palettes.
For enhanced control and security, BSFG also supplies access‑controlled steel bollards, including removable, telescopic, fold‑down and anti‑ram variants. To support inclusive design and compliance with DDA requirements, selected bollards can be specified with diamond‑grade reflective tape or high‑visibility hazard banding, improving detectability in low‑light conditions. Beyond the standard range, BSFG offers bespoke steel bollard manufacturing, allowing clients to define height, diameter, finish and detailing to suit project‑specific requirements.
