Featured Project: Withington Public Realm, Manchester
BSFG supplied a bespoke range of Metalco seating and street furniture as part of the transformation of Withington’s town centre, creating more welcoming and inclusive spaces for the local community. The project marked the UK debut of Metalco’s distinctive Atollo Bench, installed outside Withington Library to provide a striking circular focal point within the newly improved public realm. Combining a powder-coated steel frame, aluminium detailing and hardwood seating slats arranged in a distinctive herringbone pattern, Atollo brings together contemporary Italian design with the durability required for a busy public environment. The wider scheme also incorporated complementary seating and cycle parking to support accessibility, social interaction and everyday use.
