The MIANE Litter Bin is a refined urban waste solution developed to combine functional performance with understated architectural form. Its cylindrical body with flat front detailing delivers a clean, modern appearance that integrates easily into a wide range of public‑realm settings. The design is available in multiple sizes, allowing capacity to be matched to site footfall and operational requirements.
Manufactured from edged sheet steel, the MIANE Litter Bin is fully galvanised and finished with thermosetting polyester powder coating, ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion, wear and weathering. A timber‑clad version (Miane W) is also available, featuring hardwood slats fixed to an internal steel structure, introducing warmth and material contrast for sensitive or landscaped environments. All fixings are produced from AISI 304 stainless steel to ensure long‑term durability.
The bin is fitted with an internal steel bag‑retaining ring as standard, simplifying maintenance and liner replacement. Optional features include an integrated stainless steel ashtray, removable internal containers for cigarette waste, and custom graphic panels to support waste separation or branding requirements. The lid design reduces rain ingress while maintaining clear, intuitive waste access.
Installation is via ground fixing using mechanical anchors, with pre‑drilled base holes provided as standard. The MIANE Litter Bin is commonly specified in high‑footfall locations such as town centres, transport hubs, educational campuses and public parks, where reliability, low maintenance and visual consistency are critical. Its combination of robust materials, practical detailing and adaptable configuration makes it a versatile choice for long‑term public‑realm applications.
