Project Details
The client brief was to create a safe environment for pedestrians when walking around the site, plus to provide cycle parking for visitors and employees. To fulfil the client’s needs for the scheme, BSFG had to provide products that worked functionally, durably and importantly, aesthetically.
To blend in with existing Corten weathered steel facades, the specification strictly had to follow the same material palette, to offer unity to the site. BSFG’s unique maturation process, ensures that product arrives on site, completely weathered, ensuring the natural beauty of the Corten is evident from the start.
The Hesperia and Moka bollards, plus the Guardia cycle stands were ultimately specified by the client and provided the coordinated finish, durability and ultimate protection that the client wanted, plus the natural weathering characteristics of Corten, ensures the products withstand the harsh UK winters and North Sea coastal environment.
