The KS2 Junior Goal Unit 271 is one of AMV’s most expansive KS2 multi‑sport systems, engineered to deliver a versatile training and play environment for Key Stage 2 pupils. Its substantial 7200mm width, 2000mm height, 1440mm goal opening height and 660mm recessed depth create an enhanced activity zone that allows older primary pupils to practise more advanced sporting skills while accommodating high‑energy team play. The integrated basketball backboard with a 2600mm hoop height provides an accurate practice setup for shooting, rebounding and controlled passing, helping children refine upper‑body coordination, ball handling and tactical awareness.
High side panels standing at 2000mm include targets and wickets, providing additional skill‑building challenges such as aiming, striking, ball placement and cricket‑style throwing drills. Suitable for football, basketball, hockey and cricket, the Unit 271 encourages diverse activity patterns and supports curriculum‑aligned PE development. Constructed from mild steel to BS EN 10210 standards and protected with a galvanised and polyester powder‑coated finish to BS 6497, the structure delivers exceptional durability, corrosion resistance and vandal protection, making it ideal for heavy‑use school environments. Its recessed goal depth enhances safety, improves ball control and limits stray balls during active play. Designed in accordance with BS EN 15312 and EN 1270 safety requirements, the KS2 Junior Goal Unit 271 is safe for both supervised PE sessions and unsupervised free‑access use. Available in a range of RAL colours with optional cricket wickets and target panels, it integrates seamlessly into new or existing school sports layouts.
