Created by Italian designer Alfredo Tasca, the bin features a robust metal‑sheet structure enhanced by the option of vertical teak/Ipe wood slats, painted steel or Corten‑steel panels, enabling designers to tailor the bin to a range of contemporary landscape aesthetics.
A defining design feature is the 45° sloped top, which improves rain run‑off while maintaining clean lines suitable for high‑end public spaces. The integrated stainless‑steel ashtray plate with container provides tidy cigarette‑waste management where required. A pair of opposing doors—one fixed and one hinged—allows easy servicing. The operational door is fitted with a spring steel blade “slam‑lock” mechanism, ensuring secure closure without complex hardware. The interior features a bag‑holding ring to keep liners discreetly in place.
With a 100‑litre internal capacity, YES provides appropriate volume for promenades, civic squares, business districts, retail environments and parks.
