Stainless steel has become an increasingly popular material choice for bollards due to its modern appearance, low maintenance requirements and long‑term environmental resistance. Within the BSFG portfolio, stainless steel bollards are specified where architectural quality, visual consistency and longevity are essential. The use of stainless steel allows architects and specifiers to create unified streetscapes by pairing bollards with railings, handrails, canopies and other stainless steel street furniture elements.
BSFG stainless steel bollards are manufactured in Grade 304 for typical urban environments and Grade 316 for more aggressive locations such as coastal areas or heavy industrial zones. Diameters range from approximately 90 mm up to 245 mm, with client‑specified heights above ground and root depths available to suit site conditions. Standard finishes include brushed satin, while bright mirror polish is available where a higher visual impact is required.
To address increased security requirements, BSFG also supplies internally reinforced stainless steel bollards, including concrete‑filled and steel‑reinforced designs that provide enhanced pedestrian and vehicle mitigation. Bollards may be root‑fixed, surface‑mounted or specified as removable, depending on access and operational needs. Many designs are held as standard products, while bespoke stainless steel bollards can be manufactured to precise project specifications.
