The BSFG Protect Seat is a premium hostile vehicle mitigation solution that integrates stylish seating with advanced impact resistance. Tested to IWA 14‑1:2013 standards, the single‑core configuration withstands a 1,500 kg vehicle at 48 km/h, while the dual‑core option resists a 2,500 kg vehicle at the same speed. Its structure features a galvanised steel Protect Impact Core encased in a brushed stainless steel sleeve, complemented by sustainably sourced Sapele timber slats for warmth and comfort. Designed for shallow embedment (250 mm) and minimal disruption, the Protect Seat offers a footprint of 1,300 mm × 1,300 mm and stands 820 mm above ground. Available with flat or dome top options, it meets security and aesthetic requirements for public realm projects, transport hubs, and civic spaces.
