BSFG Delivers Bespoke Benches to South Western Railway Stations
Bailey Street Furniture Group (BSFG) is pleased to announce the successful delivery of bespoke seating units to numerous railway stations across the South West, following a competitive tender win. To date over 130 of these custom-designed benches, featuring recycled plastic slats, have been installed at various railway station platforms across the South Western Railway network, including Weybridge, Wandsworth Town, Hounslow, Bookham, Virginia Water, Ashford Surrey, Southampton Central and Isleworth.
The design, which includes a hot-dip galvanised steel frame conforming to ISO1461 standards and Rilsan-coated armrests, was created to meet the client’s specifications. BSFG’s in-house manufacturing expertise and the Cyclepods brand’s reputation for using recycled materials were key in fulfilling this project.
This initiative reinforces BSFG’s commitment to sustainability and its long-standing relationship with the UK rail industry.
