Loop Table
The Loop Table is a versatile element within the wider Loop family of modular urban furniture, developed to create small‑scale gathering and activity points in outdoor public environments. Positioned centrally within a Loop seating arrangement or used independently, the table provides a practical surface for resting, socialising or light activity without introducing visual clutter.
The tabletop is manufactured from rotation‑moulded polyethylene, with a thickness of approximately 50 mm, delivering excellent resistance to impact, UV exposure and weathering. This material is designed for long‑term outdoor use and is suitable for recycling at the end of its service life. The table is supported by a hot‑dip galvanised steel frame, providing structural stability and corrosion resistance in demanding public‑realm conditions. All fixings are designed for durability and security, ensuring reliable performance over time.
The Loop Table has a diameter of approximately 700 mm and a height of 730 mm, making it suitable for use by multiple users simultaneously. Depending on configuration, it can be installed as a freestanding unit, surface mounted using a flange, or buried below ground level for a clean, integrated appearance. This flexibility allows the table to respond to different ground conditions, security requirements and design intentions.
Maintenance requirements are minimal. The polyethylene surface withstands most cleaning agents and can be cleaned using standard or pressure‑washing methods. Colour can be refreshed if required, supporting long‑term visual performance. The Loop Table is often combined with Loop benches and other Loop elements to form cohesive seating landscapes, but can also be specified independently to support flexible, informal use across a wide range of public spaces.
