This flexibility makes the Loop Picnic Up particularly suitable for educational settings, play spaces and social areas where static seating can limit engagement.
The central table acts as a clear focal point, supporting activities such as eating, learning, meeting or resting, while the surrounding individual seats encourage casual interaction and playful movement. This layout naturally supports different group sizes and behaviours, making the furniture effective for both structured and spontaneous use. The open format also improves accessibility by removing physical barriers often created by continuous bench seating.
All components of the Loop Picnic Up are manufactured from rotation‑moulded polyethylene, selected for its durability, UV resistance and ability to withstand heavy outdoor use. The seating elements feature a subtly textured surface to improve grip and comfort, while the table surface is designed for everyday practicality. The furniture is engineered for long service life in high‑footfall environments with minimal maintenance demands.
Installation options include surface fixing, ground fixing or internal ballasting with sand or water, providing flexibility to suit both temporary and permanent schemes. Recycled polyethylene versions are available, supporting circular‑economy and sustainability objectives in public‑realm projects. Routine maintenance is limited to simple cleaning, and the robust material allows colour appearance to be refreshed if required over time.
