The KS3 Goal Unit 59 is a senior‑level multi‑sport open goal designed for secondary schools and community sports areas that require a robust, versatile structure for football, basketball and hockey. Its open‑ended format allows for flexible play, while the integrated basketball backboard and 3050mm hoop height provide appropriate shooting and passing practice for older pupils and adult users. With a 3000mm overall height, 3850mm width and a deep 1000mm goal area, it creates an enlarged activity zone that supports fast‑moving games and confident ball‑handling.
The unit is manufactured from mild steel to BS EN 10210‑1:1994 and BS EN 10210‑2:1997 standards, fully galvanised for corrosion protection and finished with a polyester powder coating to BS 6497 for enhanced durability. It is 100% weatherproof, virtually maintenance‑free and vandal‑resistant. A child‑safe design reduces finger‑trap risks. Optional cricket wickets and target panels are available, and the unit can be supplied in a wide range of standard RAL colours. It is designed in accordance with BS EN 15312:2007 and BS EN 1270:2005, ensuring compliance with free‑access multi‑sport safety requirements.
