The KS3 Goal Unit 185 is a senior‑level steel multi‑sport goal engineered for secondary school and community use, supporting football, basketball and hockey for users aged 11+. Its integrated basketball backboard and ring set at 3050mm provide correct senior‑level shooting height, enabling appropriate skill development for KS3, KS4 and adult players. The frame delivers a substantial playing area, with an overall height of 3000mm, width of 3850mm and a deep 750mm goal space paired with a 2000mm goal height—ideal for structured matches, shooting practice and general playground sport.
Constructed from mild steel to BS EN 10210‑1:1994 and BS EN 10210‑2:1997 standards, the unit is fully galvanised for rust resistance and finished with a polyester powder coating to BS 6497, ensuring long‑term durability even in exposed outdoor environments. It includes child‑safe features that reduce finger‑trap risks, and the robust frame is vandal‑resistant, weatherproof and designed for heavy daily use. Optional cricket wickets and target panels can be added, and the structure is available in a wide range of RAL colours. The KS3 Goal Unit 185 is designed in accordance with BS EN 15312:2007 and BS EN 1270:2005 for compliance with free‑access multi‑sports safety requirements.
