The KS3 Goal Unit 126 is a robust senior‑level goal system designed to support football and basketball activities for KS3/KS4 pupils and adults. The structure incorporates a basketball backboard and ring set at 3050mm, providing an appropriate shooting height for older learners. Its goal opening stands at 1000mm in height, supported by a solid steel frame with a 400mm depth and an overall footprint measuring 3000mm high by 7850mm wide.
Manufactured from mild steel to BS EN 10210‑1 and BS EN 10210‑2 standards and finished with a polyester powder coating compliant with BS 6497, the unit offers strong resistance to corrosion and wear. It is fully galvanised for long‑term protection and designed with child‑safe features that reduce finger‑trap risks. The goal is suitable for adults and pupils aged 11+, ensuring compatibility with KS3 and KS4 sports environments. As with other AMV senior units, it is 100% weatherproof, virtually maintenance‑free and vandal‑resistant. Optional enhancements, including cricket wickets and target panels, are available, and the goal can be supplied in a wide range of RAL colours. The unit is built in accordance with BS EN 15312:2007 and BS EN 1270:2005 safety standards
