The KS3 Goal Recess 113 is engineered to meet the demands of secondary‑level playgrounds and sports areas where durability, safety and efficient use of space are key priorities. Its recessed design, featuring a 400mm goal depth, helps contain ball movement and supports structured gameplay, making it ideal for football, small‑team activities and invasion‑game training for pupils aged 11 to 16 and older. The 1000mm overall height and 3850mm width are proportioned to suit KS3 and KS4 learners, promoting confident participation, improved accuracy and spatial awareness during play.
Constructed from mild steel to BS EN 10210 standards and finished with a weatherproof polyester powder coating to BS 6497, the KS3 Goal Recess 113 is vandal‑resistant, corrosion‑resistant and virtually maintenance‑free, ensuring excellent long‑term performance in demanding school environments. The unit supports key developmental outcomes including cooperative play, communication skills, gross motor development, hand‑eye coordination and flexible movement. Optional additions such as cricket wickets or target panels allow the structure to be adapted for multi‑sport use.
