Manufactured from high‑performance concrete (HPC), the Gaia bench offers excellent durability and resistance to weathering, impact and wear. This robust material ensures long‑term performance in demanding outdoor environments, while maintaining a refined and consistent surface finish.
A key feature of the design is the pattern of perforations across the seating surface. These openings vary in size and are also incorporated into the backrest where specified, contributing to a cohesive visual identity. The perforations enhance the appearance of the bench while also supporting practical performance by preventing water accumulation on the seating surface.
The Gaia bench is available in two configurations — with or without a backrest — allowing it to accommodate different user requirements and levels of comfort. Both versions maintain the same sculptural language, ensuring consistency when used individually or in combination.
The design is intended for flexible use within a wide range of urban and landscape contexts, including parks, plazas and civic environments.
