The Diamante Urban Bench is a versatile and architecturally driven seating system designed to provide flexible, modular solutions for urban spaces. Developed as part of a coordinated collection, it allows designers to create linear and curved seating arrangements, adapting easily to a wide range of spatial layouts and project requirements.
At the core of the system is the use of high‑performance concrete (HPC), forming the primary seating surface. This material provides exceptional resistance to weathering, wear and impact, ensuring long‑term durability in demanding outdoor environments while maintaining a refined and contemporary appearance.
The Diamante system is designed as a configurable kit of parts, combining concrete seating planes with a range of supporting and seating options. Elements can be specified with steel supports in plate or sheet form, as well as optional timber or steel seating surfaces, enabling a wide variety of aesthetic and functional outcomes.
A defining feature of the range is its modularity. Individual units can be arranged into continuous compositions or integrated with other elements such as planters, allowing the creation of tailored seating landscapes. The availability of both linear and curved modules supports more organic layouts, helping to define space and encourage social interaction in public environments.
The system also allows for additional options such as backrests, armrests or integrated planter elements, depending on the desired application. This flexibility enables the Diamante bench to function across a broad range of project types, from highly functional seating to design‑led landscape features.
