The Coraklo Cubic Bollard is a contemporary urban design element that merges robust vehicle deterrence with architectural aesthetics. Defined by its clean cubic geometry, the bollard offers a visually strong yet understated solution for delineating pedestrian areas and managing vehicle access within public environments.
Manufactured from reconstituted stone (PDM – composite stone with granite or marble aggregates), the unit provides exceptional durability and resistance to wear, impact and environmental exposure. The substantial mass contributes to its effectiveness as a passive barrier, allowing it to function without the need for mechanical fixing in many applications.
The bollard features a refined material finish, with a smooth, polished top surface and sandblasted sides, delivering both tactile quality and slip resistance. A perimeter recess at the base is incorporated into the design, improving maintenance by facilitating easier cleaning of surrounding paving surfaces.
It presents a compact yet impactful form suitable for a wide range of spatial arrangements. Its freestanding installation method allows for flexible placement, while integrated lifting points or fittings assist with installation and positioning on site.
Corallo is available in a variety of options (white or grey reconstituted granite, and white or black reconstituted marble), enabling it to be tailored to different architectural contexts. Optional protective coatings, such as anti‑degradation or anti‑graffiti treatments, can be applied to enhance long‑term performance in high‑traffic urban settings.
