Designed by BMW Group Designworks, the Collect Litter Bin combines refined industrial design with rugged durability. Reflecting the aesthetic of the broader Metro40 Collection, its architecture is defined by a cast‑aluminium ribbon frame, wide at the top and tapering elegantly towards the base, wrapping a rotationally‑molded polyethylene body. This material pairing ensures impact resistance, long‑term UV stability and suitability for high‑traffic, weather‑exposed locations.
Collect prioritises maintenance efficiency. The internal bin pivots open at a 35° angle, allowing operatives to access the liner without lifting heavy components. A side latch secures the frame during normal use, with an optional keyed lock available for sites requiring heightened tamper resistance. The 30‑gallon liner is equipped with bag hangers, ensuring quick changes and preventing slippage.
The system is available as a litter or recycling receptacle—both sharing the same architecture and distinctive profile. Surface‑mount and freestanding versions are available, including a freestanding option with a cast‑iron base, providing flexibility across plazas, campuses, waterfronts and streetscapes.
